PHOTOS: Hundreds gather for Annual Choral Festival
Each year, hundreds of elementary and junior high students from across CCSD59 gather to join their voices in a celebration of music. The annual CCSD59 Choral Festival is a showcase of the musical talent our students possess, and an opportunity for their hard work to be on display.
On Saturday, students performed for families, friends, and classmates at Friendship Junior High. Nearly 300 students began the day with rehearsals and musical activities with staff before joining together for a final choir performance. Local musician Catherine DeLanoy was also gracious enough to be a part of the occasion as a guest conductor.
Please enjoy these sights of the event that were shared by families and staff.
